The 1953 classic "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" has been labelled Marilyn Monroe's masterpiece but I am afraid to say that Jane Russell outshines her in this one. The story is about Lorelei (Monroe) and Dorothy (Russell), two lounge singers who venture on from America to France. Lorelei doesn't love men, she loves diamonds and has just found herself the perfect man to be her husband, a rich millionaire no less. Dorothy on the other hand is looking for some more. In fact she mentions a certain four letter word quite a few times. The two girls travel by ship to France and get themselves in a bit of mischief landing Lorelei wondering if Diamonds really are a girls best friend.
