Spring's Palette

"I'm in need of new makeup products, but don't know what I should buy. Can you steer my in the right direction, so that I have the products that work for spring 08?"



This Winter saw a very daring makeup palette, involving dark purple lip liner and bright nail polish. This spring, however, has welcomed a totally different palette, in all ways possible.

This Spring, find yourself using mineral makeup, easily purchased from Avon, Sheercover or The Body Shop. This will be both good for your skin and it looks great, especially with the weather changing.

Nailpolish will see a change when the brightly coloured fad (purple, blue, red) will take a season (or two) off to welcome back pale pink polish, as well as (my favourite) french manicures. No more of those fake nails with yellow tips. Let's just say that was a fad I wasn't willing to take on.

Naked lips will make a reappearance for spring, minus the dark lip liner this time. This browns, corals, and nude lipstick for a classy, sexy look.

Finally neutral eyeshadow is going to be big this season, being the only makeup item you will need to use on your eyes. Forget the dark cohl eyeliner and mascara, and the dark eyeshadows. Browns are back, both in clothing and makeup.
